Treatments

First Time Visits
Normally in an initial treatment, we would do a thorough intake and evaluation and then give the patient a clear picture of where their health is at and discuss how we could work together to achieve their goals to bring their health back to where they want.  We would also explain dietary and or lifestyle changes needed.  It is truly believed that everyone can have optimal health with proper diagnosis, treatment, and a cooperative relationship between practitioner and the patient.

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is the most visible part of Traditional Chinese Medicine in America today.  With the insertion of filiform needles at pinpoint parts of the body, acupuncture can be used to treat a myriad conditions ranging from the common cold to chronic pain to infertility.  Acupuncture can also be used to help streamline and "tune-up" the body to help insure a patient stays healthy over time despite the stresses of everyday life.

Chinese Herbs

Chinese herbs are the bread and butter of Traditional Chinese Medicine.  Using herbal mixtures to treat the body from the inside out, Chinese herbs presents a viable treatment strategy for both acute and chronic conditions, as well as providing general health boosters as needed.  Chinese herbs come in a variety of forms, allowing the doctors of Life Acupuncture to meet the needs of each patient individually.

Tui Na

Tui Na is Traditional Chinese Medicine's version of massage combined with physical therapy and joint manipulation.  It is developed along side with traditional traumatology.  It is soothing and relaxing to tight and sore muscles.

Cupping

Cupping utilizes glass or plastic cups and a vacuum to help promote blood flow to the site of application.  The resulting bruise dissipates over a few days after the treatment, and the typical usage is for aches and pains, but can be in a variety of conditions.

Facial Rejuvenation

Facial Rejuvenation is a natural approach to anti-aging.  It involves insertion of small acupuncture needles on the face to help promote good circulation to nourish and support collagen production on the face and needles in the body to help boost qi and blood to improve overall energies in the body as well.  This helps to address underlying imbalances which may have contributed to the aging process.  Needles are retained for about 25-30 minutes while patient is laying comfortably in a nice warm bed.  After the needles are removed, an E-stem machine is used to help lift, and tone sagging muscles on the face and neck areas.  Then an herbal or collagen mask is placed on the face and patient enjoys massage on the lower extremities.  This 2 hour treatment leaves skin more supple, firm, and youthful.  Results are immediate for most people, however, 4 sessions once per week is advisable (to look years younger).  These treatments are safe and effective to help reduce the signs of aging in a natural approach, which helps your whole body to look and feel younger.
